This note is read by Envoy when it receives a maintenance trigger email. It defines the scope of autonomous housekeeping Envoy is permitted to carry out without further user approval.
- Delete notes in scratch/ that are older than 7 days
- Delete notes in tmp/ that are older than 7 days
- Identify notes in obviously wrong namespaces (e.g. projects/envoy/ when they belong under envoy/) and move or consolidate them
- Check that notes referenced from CONTENTS actually exist; report any broken links
- Report on the overall state of notes organisation (any namespaces that look cluttered or inconsistent)
- Deleting or modifying notes outside scratch/ and tmp/
- Restructuring top-level namespaces (envoy/, memory/, PROGRAMMING_RULES/, etc.)
- Any action not listed above
Send a summary email to the user reporting what was done, what was found but not acted on, and any recommendations for follow-up.
